How to Replace the Battery
With detector OFF, use No. 1 Phillips screwdriver to remove 4 screws from back enclosure ( B )
Lift back enclosure ( B ) straight up
Lift battery ( C ) straight up
Insert new battery ( C )
Replace back enclosure ( B)
Replace 4 screws in back enclosure ( B ) and hand-tighten until firm
How to Replace the Sensor
With detector OFF, use No. 1 Phillips screwdriver to remove 4 screws from back enclosure ( B )
Lift back enclosure ( B ) straight up
Use No. 1 Phillips screwdriver to remove 2 screws from the back of the PCB ( D )
Lift PCB ( D ) together with battery ( C ) and sensor ( E ) straight up
Remove sensor ( E ) from PCB ( D ) by pulling straight up
Insert new sensor ( E ) into PCB ( D )
Replace PCB ( D ) and 2 screws and hand-tighten until firm
Replace back enclosure ( B )
Replace 4 screws in back enclosure ( B ) and hand-tighten until firm
How to Replace the Sensor Screen
With detector OFF, use No. 1 Phillips screwdriver to remove 4 screws from back enclosure ( B )
Lift back enclosure ( B ) straight up
Use No. 1 Phillips screwdriver to remove 2 screws from the back of the PCB ( D )
Lift PCB ( D ) together with battery ( C ) and sensor ( E ) straight up
Remove sensor screen ( F ) from front enclosure ( G ) by pulling straight up
Insert new sensor screen (F) into front enclosure ( G )
Replace board ( C ) and 2 screws and hand-tighten until firm
Replace back enclosure ( B )
Replace 4 screws in back enclosure ( B ) and hand-tighten until firm
